Why I Created This Subscription
In simplest form? I wanted to start a community of leaders who care more about presence, vitality, impact, and how they show up than about proving, forcing, or fighting why it doesn't matter.
I've noticed a pattern. There are leaders who think their presence doesn't have an impact, or that they're above doing the "soft stuff," while they deflate and burn out their best people. They needed awareness and a shift, and often have no time, energy, or interest to address it.
Then there are leaders who have a great impact and care immensely about people and how they show up. But they get burned out navigating all the dynamics that the first set of leaders (and hustle/busy/gogogogo culture) create.
Left untended and unintentional, this is all a recipe for disaster in our companies, families, and culture in general.
Intended and cared for, true presence, combined with the right leadership actions, creates more connection, trust, credibility, influence, creativity, honesty, inspiration, joy, and... revenue.
People often quietly hope or assume that these things will happen, or in challenging dynamics that things will “get better or easier” someday. But, they won't.
A different approach is needed.
For those who do want to do the work and lead differently, I find that they often...
Don't need another strategy.
Don't need to work harder.
Don't need more noise.
They need quiet. Space.
And they need to be themselves: grounded, clear, present, effective, steady.
This requires presence.
But presence doesn’t happen if we just wait for it to happen. The outside world won’t give it to us. We have to cultivate it — intentionally.
That’s what the IEP Method® was built for, and Presence & Impact Leadership Community is where we learn to live it and integrate it into real life. Gently and consistently. This is the space to come to if you want to do the work. (And have fun!)
